We were honoured to host the Singapore Business Leaders Program (SBLP) dinner, an annual gathering of industry leaders, alumni, participants, and speakers of the SBLP.
Minister Gan Kim Yong graced the occasion with his presence as the dinner’s Guest of Honour. His unwavering commitment to public service and leadership has been an inspiration to us all. Notably, Minister Gan was appointed to Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) on Wednesday, just a day after the SBLP dinner. 🇸🇬
DPM Gan has a long history with HCLI. He spoke at the institute’s opening in 2010, where he highlighted the importance of HCLI in equipping companies and leaders with the skills they need to succeed in Asia’s challenging business landscape. HCLI continues to fulfill this mission today through its leadership programs, research, and communities.
DPM Gan also emphasised the need for agile leadership during his discussion with Professor Arnoud De Meyer, Chairman of HCLI. He highlighted the importance of being able to adapt to changing business environments and developing leadership talent. HCLI’s work in developing agile and forward-thinking leaders aligns with DPM Gan’s views.
