On March 11th, HCLI, in collaboration with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), hosted an insightful panel discussion exploring the multifaceted implications of the recently announced Singapore Budget 2025. Our Chief Experience Officer, Dr. Nadir Zafar, moderated a dynamic conversation with a panel of esteemed experts, including Prof. Sum Yee Loong (Chairman, Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals and Professor of Accounting, Singapore Management University), Ms. Jeannie L. (Assistant Managing Director, Services & Growth Enterprises, Enterprise Singapore), and Mr. Francis Tan (Chief Strategist Asia, Indosuez Wealth Management).
The discussion went beyond the surface, addressing thought-provoking questions about the budget’s impact on our society and economy. From the everyday concerns of consumers, like the potential price of local favorites such as char kway teow, to the broader economic strategies, the panel peeled back the layers of what has been described as a particularly generous budget.
We extend our sincere gratitude to ISCA for this collaborative opportunity to facilitate such a timely and relevant dialogue.
