On 19th August 2024, we held a dynamic discussion on “Connecting Global Leadership to Drive Business Transformation”, featuring Autodesk‘s CPO Rebecca Pearce and VP Haresh Khoobchandani, and expertly moderated by our CEO, Doris Sohmen-Pao.

We had a great discussion about how to lead and inspire teams from different cultures and time zones, and the inseparable link between culture and strategy. As Rebecca and Haresh emphasised, culture isn’t merely an HR function; it’s the lifeblood of any organisation. They shared how Autodesk is nurturing a culture of innovation and debate, and stressed the importance of empowering employees at all levels. The conversation also touched on the exciting world of AI and its impact on the workplace. It’s clear that the future involves humans and technology working hand-in-hand to achieve extraordinary results. We discussed how to harness the power of AI to enhance our capabilities and focus on the creative and strategic aspects of our work. We were also reminded that people are at the heart of every successful business. HR is no longer just a support function— it’s a strategic partner, aligned with our business goals.
