Audrey Lim

Audrey Lim is Senior Vice President at the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) and she heads up the board development practice and the business development function of the institute. She is a business development leader and a learning and development specialist with close to 20 years’ experience in the conceptualisation and design of board and leadership development programmes for chairmen, board directors and C-suite executives. Her clientele ranges from multinational listed companies to private corporations, state-owned enterprises (particularly SOEs in China), government ministries, statutory boards and social enterprises.

Audrey joined Temasek Holdings in 2003 and was an integral part of the pioneer team who set up the Wealth Management Institute (WMI). With the support of Temasek and GIC, WMI was established in 2003 as Asia’s first centre of excellence for wealth management education.

Audrey subsequently held leadership positions in Temasek’s wholly owned subsidiaries - Temasek Management Services (TMS), Business Leadership Centre, Stewardship and Corporate Governance Centre (currently known as Stewardship Asia Centre), and TMS Academy, prior to her current role at HCLI. 

Prior to joining Temasek, Audrey held key positions at the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board of Singapore and at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, where she provided advisory services to MNCs, government agencies and promising local enterprises on strategic planning, crisis management, organisation development, change management, business process reengineering, total quality management and cross-border project management.

Audrey began her career at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore (MINDEF) as an in-house management consultant, and was part of a three-person team who pioneered and spearheaded the implementation of total quality management in MINDEF, after being sent to the U.S. military for an intensive study trip in 1995.

Audrey graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Second Upper Honours) from the National University of Singapore. She completed the INSEAD International Directors Programme and is an INSEAD Certified Director in Corporate Governance (IDP-C), as well as a member of the INSEAD Directors Network. She has also completed the International Company Directors Course Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and is a Graduate Member of the AICD. She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). She holds a Diploma in Ontological Coaching from Newfield Asia, an Accredited Coach Training Programme (ACTP) by the International Coach Federation. She is also a Certified Instructor of DiG, a business simulation developed based on an INSEAD research project.
