Overview
We live and work in a new age of disruption brought on by rapid changes in the global economy, geopolitics, and technological innovations. For instance, the World Economic Forum refers to disruption as the new economic driver brought on by an increasingly complex mix of geopolitical crises, climate change, and new technologies (September 2023). Similarly, generative artificial intelligence has been viewed as the most disruptive technology since the internet – a disruption expected to drive exponential gains in economic productivity, but also an exponential increase in cybersecurity concerns.
How should boards lead in the new age of disruption? How might board leadership help their organisations thrive – and not merely survive – through good risk management in the face of rapid changes in the global economy, geopolitics, and technological innovations?
At the 2025 Asia Board Leadership Summit, board leaders from a variety of industries meet to exchange ideas to develop fresh perspectives of these challenges in the new age of disruption. The summit is designed for board leaders to deliberate on RISK from both the internal and external perspectives. Internal focuses on how board dynamics and culture impacts risk management and decision making, as well as how the relationship between the board and management impacts innovation risk. External focuses on geopolitical risks, as well as the risks brought on by the latest disruptive technologies and cybersecurity considerations.
Who Should Attend?
Board Chairs, Board Committee Chairs, Independent Directors, Executive and Non-Executive Directors and CEOs of listed and private corporations including family-owned businesses, government agencies and not-for-profit organisations
